How to wrap sushi rolls?
Place a nori sheet with the rough side up on the unfolded bamboo mat. Use half a leaf to obtain small poppies.
On top, we put a thin layer of lukewarm, seasoned sushi rice, leaving a margin of at least 2 cm at the top. Properly cooked rice should be very sticky, so have a small bowl of water ready to rinse your hands.
In the middle or on the bottom of the nori covered with rice, we put the selected add-ons. Then, starting from the side with no margin, roll the sheet into a roll so that the rice and additives are closed inside the algae, and the mat is left outside. Moisten the nori margin with a little water (we can also spread it with a bit of wasabi paste, provided that it is quite damp) and roll it up to the end of the sheet.
Tighten the resulting roll by gently pressing it with a mat, and then cut it into 6-7 equal pieces. Ready!
