Shitake / Shii-take / Poku / Japanese Twardnik
One of the healthiest mushrooms in the world. They show strong anti-cancer, antibacterial and antiviral properties, calming, regenerating collagen and regulating blood cholesterol, they have easily digestible vitamins and minerals. Cultivated for centuries in East Asia, from Japan to Indochina. They owe their popularity not only to their health properties, but also to their taste. They have a compact structure and regular lamellar caps. Shitake mushrooms must be heat-treated very briefly, otherwise they harden and lose their properties.
