Oolong tea is a traditional Chinese tea (Camellia sinensis) produced by a unique process such as drying the leaves in the sun and strong oxidation before drying. This tea is especially popular with connoisseurs in southern China and foreign Chinese in Southeast Asia. In Chinese tea culture, oxidized oolong tea is commonly known as "qing tea" (Chinese: 青茶, literally "green tea").
